Reading, Writing & Maths overall is above National Expectation.

However, the school recognises that it needs to continue diminishing the gap between Pupil Premium and National Non-Pupil Premium in all three subjects. In addition, it needs to continue to work hard to ensure that there is an increase in the number of Pupil Premium Pupils achieving Greater Depth.

As a result, Reading, Greater Depth and Mathematical Reasoning are currently key areas on the School Development Plan with a focus on Pupil Premium Pupils. For more information about this, please see the School Development Plan section of this website.

Writing is currently a key area on the cluster Development Plan which means Hindsford is working closely with other schools in the local area to address the increase of attainment in writing for Pupil Premium Pupils.

Writing, Maths & Combined overall is above National Expectation. Reading & SPAG overall is in line with National Expectation.

In comparison to National Other, Pupil Premium Pupils were in-line/broadly in-line in Reading, Writing, SPaG & Combined and above in Maths.

In comparison to National Males, Male Pupils were in-line/above in all subjects & Combined.

In comparison to National Females, with the exception of SPaG, Female Pupils were also in-line/above.

The school however recognises the need to increase the overall APS (Average Point Score) in the majority of subjects both for overall and individual groups. The school also recognises the importance of increasing the numebr of pupils achieving Greater Depth. This is currently a key area on the School Development Plan.
